I struggle with routine, apart from when it comes to breakfast! I alternate between this Breakfast Smoothie Bowl and Gluten Free Weet-Bix (with shreds of coconut MmMMMmm).
After a lot of trial and error, I have found the perfect combination of filling and tasty!
This recipe is:
- GLUTEN FREE
- DAIRY FREE
- VEGAN FRIENDLY
- REFINED SUGAR FREE
- 2 Handfuls of washed kale (leaves only)
- 2 Handfuls of washed spinach
- 1 large banana (for smoothie) / 1 small banana (for topping)
- 1-2 cups of water or coconut water
- 1 tablespoon of flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- 1 Handful of blueberries
- 2 strawberries
- Put kale, spinach, large banana and water in blender
- Blend until smooth
- Poor mixture into breakfast bowl
- Top with strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, flaxseeds and banana!
